PROCEDURE TEXT

Definition of Procedure Text

There are three definition about procedure text :

1.       Texts that explain how something works or how to use instruction / operation manuals e.g. how to use the faximile, the computer, the camera, the photocopier.

2.       Texts that instruct how to do a particular activity e.g. recipes, rules for games, science experiments, road safety rules.

3.       Texts that deal with human behavior, e.g how to live happily, how to succeed

Generic Structure of Procedure Text

1.       Goal : (e.g : How to make omellet)

2.       Material or Ingredient : (e.g : the material to cook omelette are egg, onion, vegetable oil, etc. )

3.       Step : (e.g : first, wash the tomatoes, onion, …., second cut the onions becomes slice. . . )

Purpose of Procedure Text

1.       To explain/tell (the reader) how to make/operate/do something through a sequence of actions or steps.

2.       To explain steps/instruction to make/operate/do something

Language Feature of Procedure Text

1.       Use adverbial of sequence / Using temporal conjunction (e.g: first, second, third, the last)

2.       Use command / imperative sentence (e.g : put the noodles on the . . ., cut the onion. . ., wash the tomatoes. . . )

3.       Using adverbials (Adverbs) to express detail the time, place, manner accurate, for example, for five minutes, 2 hours, etc.

4.       Using action verbs, e.g : make, take, boil, cook

7 perbedaan Asesmen Nasional dan Ujian Nasional

Jika dulu disetiap akhir pembelajaran maka setiap siswa akan megikuti Ujian Nasional maka pada 2 tahun belakangan Ujian Nasional sudah tidak diadakan lagi. Ujian Nasional diganti dengan Asesmen Nasional. Apakah perberdaan antara Ujian Nasional dan Asesmen Nasional. Berikut penjelasan singkatnya yang di dapat dari kegiatan Guru Belajar seri AKM.

Menurut Wikipedia, Ujian Nasional biasa disingkat UN/UNAS adalah sistem evaluasi standar pendidikan dasar dan menengah secara nasional dan persamaan mutu tingkat pendidikan antar daerah yang dilakukan oleh Pusat Penilaian Pendidikan, Depdiknas di Indonesia,  berdasarkan Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia nomor 20 tahun 2003 menyatakan bahwa dalam rangka pengendalian mutu pendidikan secara nasional dilakukan evaluasi sebagai bentuk akuntabilitas penyelenggara pendidikan kepada pihak-pihak yang berkepentingan.

Sedangkan Asesmen Nasional adalah program penilaian terhadap mutu setiap sekolah, madrasah, dan program kesetaraan pada jenjang dasar dan menengah. Mutu satuan pendidikan dinilai berdasarkan hasil belajar siswa yang mendasar (literasi, numerasi, dan karakter) serta kualitas proses belajar-mengajar dan iklim satuan pendidikan yang mendukung pembelajaran. Informasi-informasi tersebut diperoleh dari tiga instrumen utama, yaitu Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM), Survei Karakter, dan Survei Lingkungan Belajar.

Nah, apakah perbedaan  UN dan AN itu? Berikut penjelasannya:


1.    Tujuan Asesmen Nasional dan Ujian Nasional tidak sama. Asesmen Nasional memiliki tujuan untuk mengevaluasi mutu sistem pendidikan di Indonesia, sedangkan Ujian Nasional adalah untuk mengevaluasi capaian hasil belajar siswa secara individu.

2.  AN untuk semua jenjang pendidikan dasar, pendidikan menengah pertama, dan pendidikan menengah atas. Ini termasuk MI, MTS dan MAN, serta program kesetaraan. Sedangkan UN berlaku dari jenjang pendidikan menengah pertama dan atas saja.

3.   Asesmen Nasional  diselenggarakan di tengah jenjang pendidikan, yaitu pada kelas 5, 8, 11. Hal ini dilakukan untuk mendorong guru dan sekolah melakukan tindak lanjut perbaikan mutu pembelajaran setelah mendapatkan hasil laporan AN. Jadi bukan sekedar untuk mengetahui capaian hasil belajar siswa sebagai salah satu syarat kelulusan. Sedangkan Ujian Nasional dilaksanakan pada akhir jenjang pendidikan.

4.   Pada pelaksanaannya, Asesmen Nasional menggunakan metode survei. Metode survei dilakukan dengan mengambil sampel siswa diambil secara acak dari setiap sekolah. Berbeda dengan Ujian Nasional yang menggunakan metode sensus dimana semua siswa di seluruh Indonesia wajib mengikutinya.

5.    Model soal asesmen yang diberikan dalam AN lebih bervariasi bukan sekedar pilihan ganda dan uraian singkat sebagaimana yang diberikan dalam UN.

6.  Ujian Nasional berbasis mata pelajaran yang memotret hasil belajar murid pada mata pelajaran tertentu.  Berbeda dengan Asesmen Nasional, salah satu komponen hasil belajar murid yang diukur adalah literasi membaca dan numerasi. Asesmen ini disebut sebagai Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM) karena mengukur kompetensi mendasar atau minimum yang diperlukan individu untuk dapat hidup secara produktif di masyarakat. Sementara Ujian Nasional berbasis mata pelajaran yang memotret hasil belajar murid pada mata pelajaran tertentu..

7.   Metode penilaian AN dan UN pun berbeda meskipun keduanya berbasis komputer. AN menggunakan metode penilaian Computerized Multistage Adaptive Testing (MSAT). MSAT ialah metode penilaian yang mengadopsi tes adaptif, dimana setiap siswa dapat melakukan tes sesuai level kompetensinya.

Nah, itulah 7 perbedaan Asesmen Nasional dan Ujian Nasional. Ternyata sangat jauh berbeda. Perbedaannya terdapat pada tujuan, waktu pelaksanaan, metode pelaksanaan, model soal yang diujikan, dan materi yang diujikan.
